More finished pieces using my cabs...
This necklace was created by Joella Miller featuring a beautiful malachite cab. The piece was featured in a local arts article in the Janesville WI Gazette

Here is another of Gail's creations, using an unusual cab with veins of natural copper in matrix.
Finished pieces from my cabs
It is nice to see how my cabs get used. I appreciate it when my customers send me pictures!
On the left is a Crazy Lace agate cab, with a beautiful beaded bezel designed by Gail Devoid

Found out through the great members of the Yahoo Rockhounds list that this is psilomelane, a form of manganese oxide.

What is this material?
Any sugegstions would be appreciated. It is very messy to cut, turning the water and hands black, but it takes an amazing polish. This cab has not been finished yet, though....
